A tragic incident occurred on Saturday evening in St. Johns County, Florida, when a pedestrian was fatally struck by vehicles on Interstate 95 North near County Road 210. According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) and the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, the accident took place around 7 p.m., leading to the closure of all lanes for investigation. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while no other individuals were injured or required medical attention.

The sequence of events began as two vehicles traveled northbound on I-95, approaching Mile Marker 331. A man was observed standing on the right shoulder of the highway. As the cars approached, he attempted to cross the traffic lanes from east to west. Tragically, he was first hit by the front right side of one vehicle, which then came to a stop on the inside shoulder. Moments later, a second car struck the individual in the middle lane and also stopped nearby.
